Instructions on Notarization and Authentication

Notarization will only be processed for Chinese citizens or overseas Chinese in DPRK. The applicants are required to come to the Chinese Embassy in person to have their documents notarized, such as power of attorney, birth certificate.

Applicants must follow the procedures of authentication. Before sending a legal document to the Chinese Embassy for authentication, you must first have the documents notarized by a local Notary Public, authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK.
