JAKARTA, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is expected to provide the Indonesian government with information on latest developments of the Beijing Agreement reached recently by the six countries involved in talks on nuclear issue in Korean Peninsular, a spokesman said Monday.

The information would be given by DPRK Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Young Il, who is visiting Indonesia from April 22 to 24, Foreign Affairs Ministry's spokesman Kristiarto Legowo said.

Kim was now visiting the West Java towns of Bogor and Bandung and scheduled to meet the Foreign Ministry's Director of Asia Pacific and Africa Primo Alui Joelianto and Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajudha later, Kristiarto told Antara news agency.

"The DPRK government is expected to give us an update on the results of the six-party agreement and its implementation and also have bilateral talks with us," he added.

He said the Indonesian government hoped there would be progress in the implementation of the agreement reached in Beijing last February on the halting of DPRK's nuclear program.

"Basically, we support the dialogue and the peaceful efforts that have been made through the six-party talks," he said.
