PYONGYANG, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Long-separated families and relatives from the two Koreas bid farewell to each other on Monday after days of reunion, putting an end to the 15th inter-Korean family get-together, said the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The reunion, which started on Wednesday in Mount Geumgang, a resort in the north of the peninsula, have seen some 200 families from the two sides meeting for the first time in over 50 years.

During the meeting, people from the north side told their relatives that they are "making positive contributions to national reunification and the building of a rich and powerful country true to the Songun policy of leader Kim Jong Il", said the KCNA.

Since the historic first-ever inter-Korean summit in 2000, the two Koreas have held 14 rounds of face-to-face reunions for about 14,500 separated family members.
