Ambassador Liu Met with Leaders of the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries

On September 20th, Liu Xiaoming, the newly appointed Chinese ambassador to DPRK, called on Mun Jae Chol, acting chairman of the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries at Mansudae Assembly Hall. Mun extended his warm welcome to the ambassador, and both sides had talks in an intimate and friendly atmosphere.

Mun stated that the DPRK-China friendship, personally forged and nurtured by the old generation of leaders in the two countries, had a long-standing historic tradition. And it was an unswerving policy of the DPRK party and government to continue developing such a friendship and consolidate and develop the relations of friendship and cooperation. From now on, the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries would continue doing everything in its power to commit to the development of such a friendly cooperative relations

Liu responded that that the China- DPRK friendship was personally forged and nurtured by the old generation of leaders in the two countries and it was the unswerving policy of the Chinese party and government to continue consolidating and developing the China-DPRK relations of friendly cooperation. And the Chinese side would work with the DPRK side to enforce the consensus reached by the top leaders of the two countries and go all out to push the relations in the direction of new progress. The Chinese side would keep encouraging the exchanges and cooperation of cultural departments and non-governmental organizations of the two countries so as to make still greater contribution to the friendly relations.
